Privacy Notice
Last updated: September 10, 2026
This notice explains what information CreditRoad.ca collects through this website, why it is collected, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
The inquiry form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, province or territory, general credit situation, preferred contact method, preferred reply time, and consent choice. The website does not ask for your SIN, date of birth, banking details, identity documents, or a full credit application.
Why we collect it
We use the information to respond to your inquiry, understand the general situation you want to discuss, arrange an appropriate follow-up, and maintain necessary business records. We do not use a website inquiry as authorization to obtain a credit report.
Who processes or receives it
Website form submissions are processed by Netlify, our website hosting and form provider, so the inquiry can be delivered to CreditRoad. Sean receives and responds to the inquiry. Submitting this form does not automatically send a credit application to a lender. If you choose to continue and information may need to be shared with another party, that process and any required consent will be explained first.
Retention and safeguards
Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, and meet applicable legal requirements. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information CreditRoad holds about you, request a correction, withdraw consent for future contact, or request deletion where applicable. Some information may need to be retained when required for legitimate business or legal reasons.
Cookies and measurement
The current website does not use advertising cookies. Basic interaction events may be prepared for site measurement without including the personal details entered into the form. This notice will be updated before any materially different analytics or advertising technology is introduced.
Privacy contact
Send privacy questions or requests to privacy@creditroad.ca. Please do not email sensitive identity, banking, or credit-application documents.
